Carl Azuz is a news and features personality who hosts The World from A to Z, an objective, current events program for students that appears online throughout the school year at WorldAZ.org. Prior to this position, Carl spent 15 years as the sole anchor of CNN Student News/CNN 10, also serving as the program's only writer between 2014 - 2022.

Known for his non-partisan reporting and extensive wordplay, Carl has seen his viewership extend to all 50 states and to every continent but Antarctica. Through his work on The World from A to Z, he emphasizes the importance of critical thinking and civil explanations of world events, and he encourages compassionate conversations among members of his audience.

Carl lives in metro Atlanta with his family.  When he's not on air or writing scripts (or puns or bad raps), Carl can be found at the gym, on the mountain bike trail, in church, or in front of a black-and-white movie where all the bad guys wear suits.
