David Bailor is Director of Meetings and Exhibits and has been with NCSS since 2007.  He continues to enjoy putting together the conference each year, and meeting so many interesting and dedicated social studies educators.  Prior to joining NCSS, he worked for 22 years for the Close Up Foundation in a number of instructional and logistical positions.  A native San Franciscan, David grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a BA in History.
