The 94th NCSS Annual Conference will provide the most comprehensive professional development available, an investment in your career well worth the time and expense, but we know that school money is very tight. NCSS strives to make our professional development opportunities not only the best and most comprehensive, but also the most cost effective. We have suggestions on where to look for financial support to attend, and ways to save:

Funding Suggestions

Get an early look at the first confirmed speakers for the 2016 NCSS Annual Conference. Representative John Lewis, attorney and author Bryan Stevenson, Little Rock Nine veteran Terrence Roberts, and columnists Ruth Marcus and Michael Gerson headline the notable list of conference speakers. Click here to see the full list, and check back for updates as more names are added.

The Washington Housing Bureau is now accepting hotel reservations for the 2016 Annual Conference. NCSS has room blocks at several hotels in downtown Washington, all very close to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, offering special discounted rates.

The NCSS hotels have sold out each of the past six years, so don't delay in making your reservation.

The Call for Proposals for the 2016 Annual Conference is now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted one of the more than 1200 proposals.

Notifications will go out to all primary presenters by the end of May. Please be sure to check your email and your spam box for notification from NCSS.
