Social Science Education ConsortiumSocial Science Education Consortium (SSEC) promotes collaboration among social scientists and social studies educators. SSEC members are committed to promoting the active integration of social science content with thoughtful and engaging instructional materials and practices. Members are expected to participate by attending the SSEC conference, writing journal articles, making presentations at NCSS or SSEC conferences, participating in grant-funded projects, or serving on the Board of Directors. NCSS and the Social Science Education Consortium have established a collaborative association. SSEC membership is now open to NCSS members, and runs concurrently with NCSS Membership, which is required. Not available to institutions.
