Advanced registration is closed, but it's not too late to attend!

You can register onsite Registration is at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, 801 Mount Vernon Place, Washington, DC. Conference registration is off the Grand Lobby, near the Mount Vernon Place entrance to the Convention Center.

• Thursday, December 1 7:00am-6:00pm
• Friday, December 2 6:30am-5:30pm
• Saturday, December 3 7:00am-4:30pm
• Sunday, December 4 7:00-10:00am

Registration Details

Member: To qualify for NCSS Member prices, you must be a current member and provide your member number.

Join when you register and receive the special member rates, plus receive all the resources, information and support you need as a social studies educational professional. For more information on becoming an NCSS member, go to www.socialstudies.org/join/

Student: This rate is for full-time students who are not currently employed as professionals in the education field.

Retired member: This rate is for retired professionals who are not currently employed in the education field.

Spouse/partner: This rate is for spouses and partners who are not currently employed as professionals in the education field. Spouse/partner registrations are valid for all sessions and speakers, exhibit hall, social events, and shuttle service.

Payment information:Full payment must be received with registration. Full payment includes payment for the registration fees, ticketed events, and any membership purchased. Acceptable forms of payment are check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and valid hard copy purchase orders. Purchase orders must be paid by January 17, 2012 to avoid a late fee.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations must be made in writing by mail, fax, or e-mail by November 16, 2011.
• A 50% refund will be provided for any cancellation received by November 16, 2011.
• No refunds will be processed after November 16, 2011.
• Ticketed options will be refunded and attendees notified if canceled by NCSS.
