College Credit and Georgia PLUs


Graduate Credit

Attendees can earn one graduate level semester credit through Indiana University.

Applicants must attend at least 15 hours of sessions, workshops, and speakers, and keep a log of everything attended. The credit requires a three- to five-page paper that relates conference sessions to your current professional position. The paper must be received by December 11, 2009. All papers must be submitted by e-mail (Microsoft Word or WordPerfect preferred) to Dr. Fred Risinger at risinger@indiana.edu

Attendees will be graded on a regular grade basis (Pass/Fail is not available). Grades will be reported at the end of the Fall semester, after December 14, 2009.

The fee, payable to Indiana University, is $329.87.

Georgia Professional Learning Units (PLU)

Georgia teachers can receive 1-2 Professional Learning Units (PLU). Applicants must attend sessions, workshops, and speakers, and keep a log of everything attended. The log form can be downloaded below. Georgia teachers must fax, mail, or e-mail their completed logs to the contact information listed on the form. Qualifying teachers will receive by e-mail a signed PLU Course Completion Form.
