College credit available at Annual Conference
NCSS conference attendees have two options for earning graduate credit.
One graduate-level semester credit is available through Adams State College. Applicants must attend at least 15 hours of sessions, workshops, and speakers, and keep a log of everything attended. The credit requires a short paper or lesson plan incorporating information learned at the conference. Download the program description.
The fee is $65.
For attendees looking for a more comprehensive option, the Institute for Graduate Studies in partnership with North Dakota State University is offering three graduate-level credits. The coursework will include a pre-conference assignment and attendance at daily meetings during the conference. The course will provide specific school and classroom ideas, materials, activities and strategies that participants can implement in their classes. Download the program description.
The fee is $670 if you register before November 15, 2014.
