Using the C3 Framework to Inform State Policies and Practices

This recorded webinar describes how state departments of education can utilize the C3 framework to create new state social studies frameworks, update social studies standards, support existing social studies standards and, most importantly, improve classroom instruction. The presenters will describe how adopting and/or supporting the use of the C3 Framework can support and strengthen overall social studies education, improve civic learning, and enhance the integration of literacy standards. The presenters will provide specific examples of policies and approaches adopted at state and local levels.
