In August, the Madison Chapter of Rho Kappa at James Madison High School in Virginia was able to box up about 500 of their old textbooks and ship them to schools in Rockport, Texas that lost everything from Hurricane Harvey. They partnered with Hayfield High School, another school in their county who had a teacher originally from the area and together contributed over 12000 pounds of supplies. The pallets arrived Oct 23rd in Texas and are ready to be distributed to the schools, teachers, and students who need them.
