Christopher Columbus High School Chapter Interviews Korean War Veteran

Christopher Columbus High School students in Miami, Florida have participated in the Korean War Digital History Project (http://www.kwdhproject.org/)  and Korean War Veterans Digital Memorial (http://www.kwvdm.org/) project transcribing Veterans' interviews for the past two years.  This semester, the Christopher Columbus High School chapter welcomed Mr. Harvey Tarshis, Korean War Army veteran, to their school for his interview in April 2018 - their first! Senior and junior leaders conducted the interview and will help with the transcriptions: Victor Sabates, Manny Alvarez, Ryan Doll, David Hjelm and Rodolfo De Armas.  They conducted the interview in the school's TV studio with the gracious assistance of the TV students. The CCHS chapter has been a part of the project for years and graduating to interviewing on campus has been the plan.
