Bishop Moore Catholic High School Chapter Supports Muscular Dystrophy Association

In March, Bishop Moore Catholic High School Rho Kappa members in Orlando, FL sold green shamrocks for $1 to fellow students to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). If a student in grades 9-12 bought a shamrock, they were allowed to have a dress down day the Friday before St Patrick’s Day. BMCHS Rho Kappa raised $3000 that will be used to send at least 3 kids with MD to a special week long summer camp. Bishop Moore has been raising money for the MDA for the past 7 years and has always reached their goal of $3000. They chose MDA because advisor Paul O'Grady received an email from the local director in Orlando about this fundraising event.
