Debra Fowler, History UnErased co-founder. Debra is a veteran (former) classroom teacher, U.S. Army veteran, documentary filmmaker and public speaker. Debra has produced two documentary films, “Through Gay Eyes” and “Hard Truth, Levity and Hope”. She has co-authored inquiry-based academic resources, including UnErased: 50 Ways to UnErase History which answers the what, where, and how to infuse LGBTQ history and academic content in a cross-disciplinary approach for grades 9+.


Miriam Morgenstern, History UnErased co-founder.  Before co-founding HUE in 2015, Miriam was a classroom teacher in a large urban high school where she developed a service learning academy and international teacher exchange programs. She has co-authored an LGBTQ academic inquiry series and is currently developing an LGBTQ civil rights history curriculum.
