Every Test is a Reading Test! Literacy for Social Studies

a remote learning experience discussing how democracy is threatened and how educators protect democracy
April 21, 2020 - 7:00pm EDT

Student success in social studies can be determined on whether or not they have the literacy skills to analyze text. This session will give social studies teachers multiple strategies to enhance reading skills in the classroom. When students are provided with the tools necessary to break down primary sources, they have the ability to start making content connections.
