Race relations in America impact everyone, including its youngest citizens. Since educators play an important role in children’s lives, it often falls to them to help children unpack the complexities of the society they are growing up in. Many teacher preparation programs fail to address race, resulting in a teaching force that feels uncomfortable addressing issues of race and racism. This webinar will provide information and resources for early childhood and elementary teachers to help them understand simple ways to transform their practice by incorporating anti-racist ideas.
