Andrew has spent many years in education, as a classroom and online teacher, curriculum developer, instructional coach, teacher leader, and educational consultant. He uses his skills and expertise in educational technology, PBL, assessment, understanding by design and culturally responsive teaching to create an engaging learning environment for all students. He has given conference presentations and workshops at many organizations, including the National Association for Multicultural Education, ISTE, ASCD, the International Literacy Association, NCTE, and iNACOL’s Virtual Schools Symposium. An an avid blogger, as well as consultant and writer for a variety of organizations including ASCD and Edutopia, Andrew is currently the Director of Personalized Learning at Singapore American School where he supports implementation of competency-based learning, customized pathways, and flexible learning environments.
