In this webinar, guest Nichelle Pinkney will share the importance of building community and empathy in the classroom to have impactful civil discourse. This talk is relevant for 6-12th grade social science teachers. Participants will learn strategies to build empathy and community and how to respond when these things may shift.

Guest Speaker: Nichelle Pinkney (Bio) is an educator and author. Currently, she serves as a K-12 Social Studies and World Language Director at Learning That Transfer where she creates their curriculum.
