Student and Faculty Perspectives on Intersectionality and Fourth Wave Feminism in Secondary Education

Led by two third wave feminist educators, this roundtable discusses how a high school women’s history classroom can be intersectional. It will also include two high school students who strongly identify with the burgeoning fourth wave of the women’s movement. Participants will present a number of interesting case studies, including how suffrage history and AP Government curriculum are being taught in a feminist friendly high school classroom using an intersectional lens.
