Celebrate 100 Years of NCSS!

National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) concludes its centennial year with a special virtual conference - and you’re invited to join us!

To commemorate our first 100 years, NCSS is hosting this unique virtual conference to provide more professional development programs to social studies educators this year. Special sub-themes, speakers, and sessions will highlight issues and practices of greatest interest to social studies educators each day.

Tuesday-Thursday, February 1-3 will feature special 100th anniversary programs and pre-recorded sessions. Friday, February 4 will include two live keynote sessions and other special events (details coming).  Saturday-Sunday, February 5-6 will feature keynote speakers and live sessions.  Whether you attended the 101st NCSS Annual Conference or not, you have another opportunity for more great professional development during a busy year for social studies educators and a historic year for NCSS. You will:

  • Experience 100+ hours of social studies content to increase your professional learning, both live and on-demand.
  • Learn from prominent keynote speakers.
  • Explore the virtual exhibit hall highlighting the latest social studies products and services.
  • Connect with others via virtual networking.
