Read about awards for teachers and researchers. Then mark due dates for applications on your calendar now. Nominate a colleague. And invite your students to showcase their work. 

Teaching Resources
Read about classroom resources and online offerings from many sources. Now is the time to plan for fall lessons tagged to Model UN, the World’s Largest Lesson, and/or National History Day. 
TV Plus
Get a head’s up on television programs that focus on history, civics, geography, economics, and/or current issues. Many are accompanied by educational websites or video shorts that can be used in the classroom.
