He is the author of eight bestselling books, including How We Got To Now, Where Good Ideas Come From, The Invention of Air, The Ghost Map, and Everything Bad Is Good for You, and is editor of the anthology The Innovator's Cookbook. He is also host and executive producer of the PBS series How We Got To Now with Steven Johnson. In his latest book, Wonderland, Mr. Johnson shows how the pursuit of wonder is a powerful driver of world-shaping technological change, and that future is found wherever people are having the most fun. He is also the founder of a variety of influential websites--including outside.in--and writes for TIME, Wired, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
