India Meissel, teacher at Lakeland High School in Suffolk has been elected vice president of National Council for the Social Studies and is in line to become NCSS President 2018-2019. India served on the NCSS Board of Directors 2012-2015, and currently serves on the board of the Virginia Council for the Social Studies.
