NCSS Committee Meetings
NCSS conducts official business at the Annual Conference. Unless otherwise noted, meetings of the House of Delegates, operations committees, and other NCSS work groups are open to all NCSS members interested in the governance of the Council.

Communities are formal subgroups within NCSS bringing together educators with common interests. Conference attendees are strongly encouraged to attend any and all community meetings of interest to them.

Dr. Terrence J. Roberts is one of the “Little Rock Nine” who desegregated Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957. As a 15-year-old eleventh grader, he joined eight other students and became one of the first nine black students to go to a formerly segregated public high school in Little Rock. --> read more »
