Summary of House hearing on the Importance of quality teachers and leaders

On Tuesday, May 4, the House Committee on Education and Labor held one in a series of hearings as part of its work regarding reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. This hearing, titled, "Supporting America's Educators: The Importance of Quality Teachers and Leaders," focused on the importance of preparing and supporting teachers and leaders in K-12 education.
