The National Park Service is partnering with American Public University

The National Park Service at Harpers Ferry, WV is partnering with American Public University to offer teachers an on-site summer workshop at the historical park, in conjunction with an online graduate history course.

Freedom Rising, The Second Year of The Civil War: 1862 examines the critical Maryland Campaign of September 1862. The online course starts July 2 – August 26, 2012 and the on-site workshop is August 10-14, 2012.
