Spanish, Mexican, and American California: Reframing U.S. History at Peralta Hacienda


Spanish, Mexican, and American California: Reframing U.S. History at Peralta Hacienda is a stipended, one-week workshop funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Teachers from every state, grade level, and subject area will convene to explore the intertwined histories of these two neighboring countries, past and present. You’ll learn from noted scholars as well as people from diverse backgrounds in the community. This opportunity is offered free of charge and every teacher accepted to the program will receive a $1,200 travel stipend and per diem.
