Summer institutes at the University of Minnesota provide challenging, thought-provoking learning opportunities for teachers through lectures by faculty and guest speakers, small group activities, readings, and discussions of strategies for integrating global topics into diverse curricula. All programs are held at the U of M campus in Minneapolis, MN.

Registration
Registration is $75 for 5-day institutes, or $40 for 2-3 day workshops. Fee includes lunch daily, readings, field trips, and teaching materials.

Housing
Teachers from outside the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area are eligible to stay in on-campus housing. Each institute has a limited number of housing scholarships available to teachers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Travel Stipends
A limited number of travel stipends up to $250 will be awarded to teachers traveling to the institutes.
