The Library of Congress is seeking applications from current world history or world geography teachers for a Teacher-in-Residence position within its Educational Outreach division during the 2017-18 school year.

The 13th annual APA/Clark University Workshop for High School Teachers will be held June 28-30, 2017, at Clark University in Worcester, MA. All interested high school psychology teachers are invited to apply; the workshop will be open to 25 teachers. Read more
National History Day is looking for Judges for the National Contest 2017. About 500 judges are needed to evaluate the projects.
National History Day (NHD) is a yearlong program that engages students in grades 6-12 in rigorous historical research about a topic of their choice. The result is a host of interesting projects that are evaluated at competitions beginning with the local level. Students who advance to state/affiliate contests and are successful there move on to the National Contest, which is held in June at the University of Maryland, College Park. Read more

NGS is looking for educators who have new ideas for effective strategies in teaching and learning—at any age level, with any audience, and in any location. NGS aims to support educators in formal and informal settings, in community education and outreach, and educator professional development. Grants will be awarded on a quarterly basis. Read more
