Foundation for Teaching Economics Free Professional Development Workshops and Seminars

Economics for Leaders is a one week residential programs for social studies and economics teachers. Intellectually stimulating workshops taught by outstanding university professors and mentor teachers. Learn to teach economics with engaging activities. 'Lab-style' format with FTE instructors demonstrating activities with high school students. Curriculum based on National Standards in Economic Education correlated with State Standards. $100 Attendance Stipend for all participants. Additional $150 stipends available for commuters. Three hours of graduate credit available.
