Applications for the US Department of Education’s Teaching Ambassador Fellowship are now available online.

Teaching Ambassadors are outstanding teachers who have a record of leadership, strong communication skills, and policy insight who want to work for one year for the U.S. Department of Education, either full-time in Washington, DC or part-time in their home states. As Fellows, teachers contribute to the education policy discussion by bridging their education, experience, and talent to the Department. Information about the program, the application, and current and past Fellows is available at www.ed.gov/programs/teacherfellowship. The application deadline is January 17, 2011.
