On Wednesday, April 28, the Senate HELP Committee, Chaired by Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) continued its series of hearings on the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). This hearing focused on what Chairman Harkin considers to be "the important role that standards and assessments play in our education system."
