NCSS sends letters to House and Senate LHHS Appropriations Subcommittees

On June 18th, NCSS sent separate letters (attached below) to the chairmen of the House and Senate Subcommittees on Labor, Health and Human Services and Education Appropriations. The letters encourage them to adequately invest in programs of interest to social studies educators during their work on the FY 2010 budget for the Department of Education. Similar letters went to all members of the House and Senate LHHS Education Subcommittees.
