Della Cronin from Washington Partners forwarded yesterday a detailed summary of the House Education and the Workforce Committee's first 112th Congress Hearing on Education in the Nation.
Della goes on to explain that in the days leading up to the hearing, Committee leadership was careful to clarify that the hearing was not on the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, but education in the nation broadly. She provides a summary of the hearing, which she explains is lengthy because it focuses in more detail on the question and answer portion of the hearing than usual in order to provide a glimpse of what is on the minds of some of the many new Members of the Committee.
