Congressman John Lewis to serve as closing keynote speaker


Civil Rights veteran and U.S. Representative John Lewis will serve as the closing keynote speaker at the NCSS Annual Conference, at 10:15AM on Sunday, November 24. Rep. Lewis, veteran of the Freedom Rides, 1963 March on Washington, and "Bloody Sunday" in Selma, Alabama in 1965, is eager to reach a new generation of Americans with the story of his role in the Civil Rights Movement through his autobiographical three-volume, nonfiction graphic book project, March.
