Sponsorship is your opportunity to gain additional visibility and exposure. Sponsor an event or service at the 90th NCSS Annual Conference. There are several opportunities to suit your needs and budget.

Sponsorship Benefits

The following benefits apply to all sponsorship opportunities. Please see the description of each sponsorship opportunity for more information.

• Title sponsorship listed as “Sponsored by (your company’s name)” in the Annual Conference Preview and Program
• Sign indicating company name and sponsorship placed at the event
• Listing on the “Thank you Sponsors” signs located in the registration area
• Sponsor ribbons for company representatives
• Your logo and Web link to your website on the NCSS Conference web page

First Timer Scholarships
Help support participation among Denver area teachers in high-poverty or at-risk schools attending their first NCSS conference. You can select the teacher(s) to receive your company’s scholarship(s), and you will be invited to meet the recipients at the first timer’s breakfast and reception, where your company will be recognized. Your sponsorship covers conference registration and one-year membership in NCSS.
Fee: $350 per scholarship

President’s Reception and Teacher of the Year Awards
Friday, November 12
Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center
Spotlight your company at the premier social event of the conference. Your company will be introduced as the sponsor and a representative will be invited to offer brief remarks. You will also have the opportunity to display your company’s materials at the Reception.
Fee: $20,000 for exclusive sponsorship or $5,000 for partial sponsorship

NCSS Awards Reception
Saturday, November 13
Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center
Celebrate excellence at the presentation of the NCSS Outstanding Teacher of the Year and NCSS awards. Your company will be introduced as the sponsor and a representative will be invited to offer brief remarks. You will also have the opportunity to display your company’s materials at the Receptions.
Fee: $6,500

International Visitors Reception
Thursday, November 11
Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center
Gain worldwide recognition by sponsoring the International Visitors Reception. Your company will be introduced as the sponsor and a representative will be invited to offer brief remarks. Your company will be distinguished among the growing body of international conference attendees gathering to discuss social studies education among different cultures.
Fee: $7,500

Advance Registration Packets
Each pre-registered 2010 attendee will receive an advance registration packet that includes name badge, tickets, and additional key meeting information. Sponsors can provide a corporate or product insert in the registration packet.
Fee: $7,500 for exclusive sponsorship or $2,500 per piece

Water Stations
Attendees in Denver will be encouraged to drink lots of water to adjust to the mile-high elevation, and two stations will provided in each of four meeting room corridors of the Colorado Convention Center, as well as three stations on the exhibit floor. Take advantage of this prime advertising opportunity to be the sole sponsor of all water stations, with your company’s logo and message on each station.
Fee: $8,000
