Vital Issue: Teaching East Asia

The speakers will examine the influence of Confucian thought on the history, literature, and societies of China, Japan, and Korea, and provide teachers with a better understanding of the socio-cultural foundations of East Asia and the primary sources available to introduce East Asia to their classrooms.
