Organizing a Pre-Service Social Studies Teacher Conference

This session will describe the process of organizing geography/social studies conference for pre-service social studies teachers enrolled in a university teacher-certification program. The presenters funded their conference with the award from the 2011 Grant for Enhancement of Geographic Literacy. Level of achievement of expected outcomes will be shared.
