Terrence Roberts, Kara Cooney, Rick Steves, and a special joint appearance by Thomas Jefferson and Napoleon Bonaparte are just some of the confirmed speakers for the 2015 NCSS Annual Conference in November. To see the full lineup to date, click here.

Now accepting deposits for 2015 Annual Conference


Do you have funds for the current school year you want to apply toward the registration fee for the 2015 NCSS Annual Conference in New Orleans in November? We can take a deposit now and invoice for the difference once our registration rates are set in early June. Click here to request details.

Reserve your hotel room now for New Orleans


The New Orleans Housing Bureau is now accepting hotel reservations for the 2015 Annual Conference. NCSS has room blocks at ten hotels in the Warehouse/Arts District, all convenient to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, offering special discounted rates.

The NCSS hotels have sold out each of the past five years, so don't delay in making your reservation.

2015 Call for Proposals now closed


The Call for Proposals for the 2015 Annual Conference is now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted one of the more than 1100 proposals,

If you need to edit a submitted proposal, you can do so until the end of this week. Click here to access the proposal system. Scroll down and click on "Edit Proposal." You'll need your proposal ID number and password.

Notifications will go out to all primary presenters by the end of May. Please be sure to check your email and your spam box for notification from NCSS.

Help Shape the 2015 NCSS Annual Conference


Help us develop the 2015 annual conference program by becoming a proposal reviewer. As a reviewer, you will read and rate between 10 and 15 proposals for sessions. We will try to match the proposals you read to your main area of interest. You will work online at home or your workplace. Most reviewers complete their reviews in one sitting. Reviewing will take place in early March.
