Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) recently introduced S. 3557, the Sandy Feldman Kindergarten Plus Act of 2010. The bill, designed to provide kindergarten-age children below the poverty line with additional time in school during the summer to ensure adequate preparation and support, is one of 3 pieces of education legislation recently proposed by the Senator.
