Secretary Duncan announced the release on Thursday, December 3.

Race to the Top Fund Final Guidance
Submitted by Jordan Grote on Tue, 11/24/2009 - 5:10pmAttached please find the Washington Partner's summary of the Race to the Top's (RTT) final application guidance. The $4.35 billion RTT will reward states that have raised student performance in the past and have the capacity to accelerate achievement gains with innovative reforms. Two rounds of competition for the grants will be held with the first round having a due date of January 19, 2010.
