The Conference Preview mails in August 2014. It is the first and most important tool to generate attendance at the NCSS Conference in St. Louis. It reaches interested educators at the start of the school year, to allow them to request time and support to attend. The Preview is a 24-page magazine mailed to the entire NCSS membership of approximately 20,000 social studies professionals. An additional 50,000+ copies will be mailed to district-level social studies supervisors and selected department heads at the secondary level nationwide, and to elementary , middle, and secondary social studies, AP social studies, history, economics, geography, civics, psychology, minorities, and current events teachers in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Copies will also be distributed at local and state fall meetings and conference of educational associations.

The Conference Program will be distributed to all attendees of the 94th NCSS Annual Conference in Boston. Advertising in the Program is the best way to ensure maximum exposure for your products and services, and to build booth traffic. The Program is the official guide to the conference, and includes the exhibit hall floor plan and exhibitor listings.

*Tabbed Sections Dividers. Tabbed section dividers are of heavier weight paper stock with a tab that sticks out and holds the place of a special position in the Program. Advertisers can put their message on both sides of the divider. The tab must reference the specific section it begins. The available sections are “Sessions,” “Exhibits,” and “Index/Maps”

Help attendees plan their conference schedules by providing them with book flags to mark must attend events in their Conference Program. Each attendee will receive a page of 22 stickers in their Conference Program that will be imprinted with your company’s name and logo. Your company will also be able to place a full-page, four-color ad on the back of the page of stickers. This is the perfect way to advertise to attendees during the conference.
