Conference Preview
The Conference Preview mails in July 27, 2009. It is the first and most important tool to generate attendance at NCSS’s conference in Atlanta. It finds interested educators over the summer to allow them to arrange their travel plans. The Preview takes the form of a 32-page magazine and is mailed to the entire NCSS membership of approximately 22,000. In addition, an overrun of nearly 30,000 is mailed to district-level social studies supervisors and selected department heads at the secondary level, elementary school principals, and district-level curriculum supervisors nationwide. Copies are distributed at local and state meetings and conventions of educational associations.
There are only three possible four color spreads in the Preview. Spreads will be sold on a first come-first serve basis. Note: There are no tab-dividers available in thePreview.
