Preparing to Meet the NCATE/NCSS Teacher Program StandardsNational Council for the Social Studies will be conducting a one-day clinic to assist institutions to prepare NCATE/NCSS social studies program reports using the electronic submission process. This hands-on clinic will provide specific guidelines on using the electronic NCATE submission process, and meeting the NCSS/NCATE standards. Participants are encouraged to bring their institution≠s social studies program materials to work on at the clinic.The clinic will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2007, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., prior to the NCSS Annual Conference in San Diego. The cost of the workshop is $275.00 per person for NCSS members, and $325.00 for non-members. Clinic attendees wishing to attend the annual conference must also pay the conference registration fee, which covers all sessions, keynote speaker presentations, and admission to the Exhibit Hall.
